Privacy Practices

Our personalized approach extends to your confidential medical records. We utilize a modern, HIPPA-compliant electronic records system. Our secure, fully-automated system allows Napa Valley Orthopaedics physicians to instantly access your medical records and imaging studies in the office and on-call. At the time that you make your appointment, you will be asked for an email address in order that we may send you a link to our patient portal. You will be able to securely enter all of your medical history in far shorter time in the comfort of your home than completing lengthy paperwork in the office. We are required to have a photo government approved ID card and ask that you bring it to your appointment.

Insurance

Napa Valley Orthopaedics accepts nearly all insurance. Our specially trained staff will help you navigate your individual policy as it relates to your prescribed orthopedic care. Please bring your current insurance card to each appointment.

Workers Compensation

Napa Valley Orthopaedics physicians and staff are highly experienced in managing and treating work-related injuries. We understand the complexities of work-related injury cases, and offer QME and AME services for our patients. With advanced sub-specialty training in orthopedic trauma, our physicians are uniquely qualified to care for all types of industrial injuries and disorders covered under Workers Compensation.

HOSPITALIZATION

Excellence in Orthopaedics – Comprehensive Compassionate Care

If hospitalization is required, your Napa Valley Orthopaedics team — including your orthopedist, medical assistant and scheduler – will assist you each step of the way. Your surgeon will communicate closely with you, your family and all members of your healthcare team. Prior to your discharge, we will arrange home care, assistive devices and post-operative occupational and/or physical therapy as needed. Our team approach to managing your treatment enables you to focus on rehabilitation and recovery.

Napa Valley Orthopaedics believes that part of the world-class service we offer is our patients’ comfort and convenience. With that in mind, our surgeons maintain privileges at Queen of the Valley Hospital, St. Helena Hospital, and Sonoma Valley Hospital. Your Napa Valley Orthopaedics team will work with you to schedule the most appropriate hospital based on your specific treatment plan.
