On Aril 17, 2010, NVO doctors, staff and friends rode in Cycle For Sight, an annual wine country Rotary fundraiser. Primary beneficiaries this year are Napa’s Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind & Visually Impaired and Pathway Home Project, a program for returning Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans suffering post traumatic stress disorder (based at the Veterans Home in Yountville.)
As an event sponsor, NVO fielded a team of 20 riders and NVO staff manned the “water bottle” booth at the after-ride Festival. This locally-produced event included nearly 1700 riders and raising $90,000 and counting for the Napa Valley beneficiaries.
