On June 6, 2010, NVOMG sports medicine specialist Dr. Brian Freeto served as Medical Director for the 24th annual Hit the Road Jack. All proceeds directly benefit the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. While Dr. Freeto monitored participants and directed the first aid tent, NVO staff manned the Buena Vista water station. The enthusiastic water station team made sure all event participants were well-hydrated – including Dr. John Diana, a NVOMG joint replacement specialist, who made this run part of his training for the 2010 Chicago Marathon this Fall. Congratulations to the entire volunteer crew supporting Hit the Road Jack – the participant draw was the largest to date, and everyone appeared to be having a great time!
