Megan M. Ford, PA-c, MPAS
Megan assists Dr. Diana and Dr. Freeto in their clinical and surgical practices. In addition to assisting in surgery, Megan maintains office hours for direct patient care.
Megan, a native of Northern California, is a graduate of Touro University California with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, and a Master of Public Health. Her interests include food & wine, cooking, skiing, backpacking, and exploring new places.

Kimberly M. Opitz, PA-c, MPAS
Kimberly assists Dr. John Diana in his clinical and surgical practices. In addition to assisting in surgery, Kimberly maintains office hours for direct patient care.
Kimberly, a native of Southern California, is a graduate of the Loma Linda University with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. She specialized in various areas of orthopaedics throughout her training. She has volunteered in both medical care and mission work in Ecuador and Peru. Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family and has interests in running, mountain biking, camping, traveling, and baking.

Sylvia Meyer, PA-c, MPAS
Sylvia assists Dr. Daniel Birkbeck in his clinical and surgical practices. In addition to assisting in surgery, Sylvia maintains office hours for direct patient care, with a focus on evaluation and treatment of elbow, wrist, and hand disorders.
Sylvia, a native of Michigan, is a graduate of James Madison University with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She completed her undergraduate at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Sylvia enjoys being outdoors in the always beautiful California weather, running and hiking with her chocolate lab. She likes watching college football, listening to live music, and is quickly becoming a wine enthusiast, exploring the Napa Valley vineyards.

Kaelyn Caspillo, PA-c, MPAS
Kaelyn assists Dr. Jason Huffman in his clinical and surgical practices as well as our Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) Osteoporosis Clinic. In addition to assisting in surgery, Kaelyn maintains office hours for direct patient care.
Kaelyn , a native to Northern California, is a graduate of Touro University with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies, and a Master of Public Health. Her interests include baking, making cheese fondue, card games, camping, soccer, and running.

Kim Bellows, PA-c
Kim assists Dr. Jacqueline Weisbein in her clinical practice and maintains office hours for direct patient care.
Kim, a native of California, has over 20 years of experience in Pain Management, Family Medicine and Military Medicine. Kim brings educated, compassionate and respectful strategies to treat chronic and acute pain. Assisting patients overcome health challenges has been a rewarding career path for her. She enjoys the beauty and diversity of northern California, spending time with her family, food & wine, regular exercise, cycling, jogging, hiking and yoga.

Jessica Strock, PA-c, MPAS
Napa Valley Orthopaedics proudly welcomed Jessica in November 2023.
Jessi, was raised in Massachusetts. She obtained her BA in biochemistry from Wheaton College and went on to obtain her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University in New Hampshire
Prior to moving to California, Jessi worked as a PA with Massachusetts General Hospital with a focus on sports medicine, which was her preferred specialty. As a former college athlete with sports injuries herself; the experience in athletics and subsequent injuries and recoveries was inspiration to pursue a career in orthopaedics and a focus on sports medicine. Jessi relocated to California in 2017 and was a PA at St. Helena Hospital working with the orthopaedic group there as a surgical first assist, consulting, applying casts and splints, as well as seeing her office patients.
Orthopedics runs in the family; Jessi’s husband is an orthopaedic surgeon on active duty with the US Air Force and also is an on-call surgeon with NVO. Jessi’s sister had been a member of the NVO staff prior to her return to the east coast to become a PA-she is now a PA working with a hand surgeon in Boston.
Jessi enjoys spending time with her four children, golfing with her husband, hiking and yoga.
Her favorite part of her job is seeing patients regaining the movement that helps them enjoy their lives.

Ryan Falkenthal, DMSc, PA-c, MPAS
Ryan Falkenthal is a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant with a diverse clinical background in trauma spine and a focused practice in pain management over the past four years. A former Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy, Ryan brings a disciplined, patient-centered approach to care. He earned a Doctorate in Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg and completed PA school at D’Youville College. Passionate about improving patients’ quality of life, Ryan blends evidence-based medicine with a compassionate bedside manner. Outside of work, he enjoys watching sports, going on bike rides, working out and spending quality time with the dogs.
Annabel Slovek, NP-c, MSN
Annabel Slovek is a motivated Nurse Practitioner specializing in pain management since 2019, with a strong foundation in emergency and trauma nursing developed over eight years in high-intensity clinical settings. Annabel began her nursing journey with an associate degree from Scottsdale Community College and went on to earn both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, with a focus on Adult-Gerontology Acute Care.
Annabel’s clinical approach is shaped by a commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care, particularly for patients navigating complex and chronic pain conditions. Outside of work, she is passionate about fitness and enjoys staying active through CrossFit. Annable also loves spending time with her two Labrador retrievers, who keep her grounded and energized.
In addition to her pain management experience Annabel also is trained in aesthetics with a special focus on neurotoxin and fillers. Her goal is to help people feel confident, look refreshed—without overdoing and work closely with each client to enhance their natural features and achieve subtle, beautiful results.
